When a teacher “kicks” a student out of class, it’s typically understood—except for one at a middle school in Brooklyn, New York—as a figure of speech.
In a report from the New York Post, Roger Jassie, the teacher arrested for assaulting and endangering the welfare of a child, grew tired of some horseplay near his classroom’s door between two boys and decided to buck one of them out of the way.
The twelve-year-old on the other end of the teacher’s hoof suffered pains in his chest, which was where the uneducated kick connected.
Later that day, the boys in blue arrived on the scene at School of the Future Junior High and escorted Jassie to a facility of people his own size.
